What offshore services does Trussco provide?
Our offshore services include environmental cleaning, tank and vessel cleaning, fabric maintenance, corrosion remediation, rope access, inspection, mechanical and construction services, NORM management and specialized surface preparation. These capabilities allow our teams to support both routine maintenance and larger offshore project scopes.
What NORM services are available?
Our NORM services include radiation surveying, sampling, laboratory analysis, decontamination, NORM removal, waste minimization and automated tubular cleaning. We provide both on-site NORM services and specialized off-site support through our dedicated NORM facility.
Does Trussco have a dedicated NORM facility?
Yes. Our Intracoastal City NORM facility has provided NORM solutions since 1995 for production equipment, drilling equipment and other E&P assets. Services include NORM surveying, sampling, decontamination, waste minimization, automated tubular cleaning and dockside boat and barge cleaning.
What rope access services does Trussco provide?
Our industrial rope access services provide efficient access for structural welding, pipefitting, complex rigging, cold cutting, flange facing, cable installation, insulation and inspection. Rope access can support maintenance, construction and asset integrity work in difficult-to-reach offshore and industrial areas.
Does Trussco provide tank and vessel cleaning?
Yes. Our offshore tank and vessel cleaning services include hydro-blasting, NORM surveys and cleaning, degassing, dehydration, fluid packaging and soft washing. These capabilities help prepare tanks, vessels and equipment for inspection, maintenance and repair.
What surface preparation and coating services are available?
We provide surface preparation and industrial coating services including abrasive blasting, UHP water blasting, vapor blasting, protective coatings, internal tank linings, deck coatings and fireproofing. These services help address corrosion and protect offshore and marine assets in demanding operating environments.
Does Trussco provide UHP water blasting?
Yes, our ultra-high-pressure (UHP) water blasting services support coating removal, surface preparation and corrosion remediation for offshore and marine assets. Our capabilities include 40K and 55K UHP equipment as well as robotic technology for certain open-area applications.
Does Trussco provide environmental cleaning services?
Yes. Our environmental cleaning services support boats and barges, drilling rigs, production platforms, tanks, vessels and other offshore equipment. Capabilities include hydro-blasting, vessel cleaning, NORM cleaning and specialized environmental support for offshore maintenance and remediation projects.
How does Trussco approach safety and training?
Safety begins with preparing our workforce for the environments and specialized work they encounter in the field. Training includes rope access, confined space rescue, tank and vessel entry, jet lance training, suspended cable rigging, PEC training and hands-on safety and rescue drills.
